Are you looking for a car hire company in Oświęcim? Slawa Rent has an office in Wadowice, about 33 km and a 50-minute drive from Oświęcim. You can collect the car from us or, by prior arrangement, we can deliver it to an address of your choice in Oświęcim and the surrounding area. How much does it cost to hire a car in Oświęcim?
The price depends on the car class and the length of the hire. The longer you hire the car for, the lower the daily rate. Examples of prices from our price list:
- Fiat Punto: 170 zł per day, 80 zł per 24-hour period for hire periods of more than 15 days,
- Skoda Fabia: 170 zł per day, 100 zł per 24 hours for hire periods of more than 15 days,
- 9-seater minibuses: around 300 PLN per day, with discounts for longer hire periods,
- Large vans: from 350 zł per day, plus extras.
You can find the current prices of all cars on the website of our fleet. The cost of delivering the car to Oświęcim is agreed at the time of booking. We charge a refundable deposit.
How do I hire a car?

Our cars are covered by third-party liability and comprehensive insurance, as well as 24/7 breakdown assistance. You may drive abroad within the European Union, subject to prior notification and additional insurance.
Car hire from the airport
If you’re flying into Kraków or Katowice, we can arrange for a car to meet you at Kraków-Balice or Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport. The journey from either airport to Oświęcim takes about an hour. Why is it worth having a car in Oświęcim?
Having your own car comes in handy if you want to visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial in a single day and then carry on to places such as Wadowice, Kraków or the Beskids. Please note that entry to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum requires advance booking on the museum’s website, particularly during the peak season.
