Our fleet includes Renault Master Refrigerated, i.e. a delivery van with an insulated body and a refrigeration unit. Key features:

maximum authorised mass of up to 3.5 tonnes, meaning a Category B driving licence is sufficient,

How much does it cost to hire a refrigerated van?

With us, refrigerated van hire starts from 350 zł per day. The final rate depends on the duration of the hire and the dates, which is why we quote it at the time of booking, before you sign anything. We charge a refundable deposit for the hire.

By way of comparison: at large chain rental firms, refrigerated vans often cost 400 zł per night or more, whilst refrigerated containers with a lift are even more expensive. When comparing offers, don’t just look at the price per night, but also at the mileage limit, the amount of the deposit and whether insurance is included in the price.

What determines the price?

What should you look out for when taking delivery of a refrigerated van?

Switch on the refrigeration unit before loading and wait until the compartment reaches the set temperature. Warm goods placed in a warm compartment will not cool down during the journey.
Check which temperature setting corresponds to which compartment before you start packing.
Do not block the air outlet from the evaporator. Cold air must circulate around the load.
Try to keep the number of times you open the doors whilst on the road to a minimum. Every time you open the door, cold air escapes.
Bear in mind that a refrigerated van with its refrigeration unit running uses more fuel than a standard van.
